I have been using Reeds Rains (Ripley) for both buying and selling properties over the past 2 years. So far they have dealt with 7 purchases/sales for me.
On each and every occasion the staff, and Rachel in particular have been amazingly helpful, patient, and knowledgeable.
I have tried other estate agents since moving to this area, but, none have sold houses as quickly as Reeds Rains (usually within 2 days), always for the asking price ono.
I would always recommend Reeds Rains to anyone and I won't be using any other estate agents myself!
Melissa is also very good, she's very sympathetic when things don't go to plan, and very pro active at sorting problems as soon as possible.

Comment on agent fees
Reeds Rains are by far not the cheapest estate agent, but as they sell houses so quickly I feel that I get my moneys worth. The last house I sold was valued by another agent (who was literally around the corner, not 14 miles away). They valued it at 125,00 for a quick sale, to go down to 120,000. Reeds Rains in Ripley valued it at 155,000 and achieved 153,000.

While not always the cheapest, you get what you pay for. We acheived a higher sale price with this agent than any other agent had originally recommended. Fees are a means to an end if you can sell it for more why quibble.
