I have recently sold my property with Gascoigne Halman through their Wilmslow office. As an agent they certainly were third time lucky. Having had two previous agents in Wilmslow, prior to appointing Gascoignes (I wish I had approached them first time round) one who I dropped during the cooling off period and another Mosley Jarman who were inept. The difference between these two and Gascoigne Halman was like chalk and cheese. Why were they different? Well, firstly, they seem to have a database of prospective purchasers so I had viewers from day one. They understood the selling points of my property and demonstrated a real knowledge of the Wilmslow market, they followed up on viewings and weren't afraid to give me feedback if the news wasn't good so I knew exactly where I stood with the sale. When I had offers they checked them thoroughly and weeded out time wasters or people chancing their arm. When I had an issue during the sale they provided me with expertise that sorted out the problem. They demonstrated the value of having an agent something I questioned after the previous two experiences. You won't find a safer bet to sell your house.
