These people are not estate agents their crooks, anyone reading the poor reviews can see they are of the practice of taking money from people. I viewed a property and was subject to extreme high pressure sales tactics, i took the property and was told by the agent if i failed the credit check i would receive my holding deposit back, which is the law. I was told to sign a form and pay £400 which i thought was the holding deposit, no a day later without notifying me they took another £600 off my card without my permission and said it was included in the form i had signed. They have very confusing terms and forms for tenants to sign and try to rush you through the process and lie to you verbally so you are not given sufficient time to read. And who would expect a company would simply take money off your card on another day without notifying you of this. I have since asked for my holding deposit back what i originally thought was £400 which is now £1,000 and they're refusing to give me my money back. At one point they were trying to make me transfer £5K over the remainder of the move in money that day before i had moved in or passed the referencing. Fortunately i did not otherwise i would now have £6,000 they had stolen from me and would be refusing to return. I too will go down the legal route as the other victims of this scam have been, and am considering reporting them to the police as this is a scam. This goes well beyond someone complaining about bad service, this is theft, this company are deliberately misleading people to take their money from them.
