I wouldn't reccomend going with Martin&Co, Manchester, we've had nothing but hastle and inconvience caused by them. Martin&Co clearly don't know how to communicate, we've had nothing but issues since we took on our tenancy. They mentioned when we went to view the property there was a few issues to do with damage to the property in which would have been sorted before we moved in.. It wasn't and for £800 a month we were left with ripped sofa's in which I wouldn't of put a dog on.

They then made us dispose of these ourselves in which should of been done before our tenancy started, it was that badly damaged. Also the flat wasn't cleaned to a high standard and flooring damaged and Windows wouldn't open/close easily. All the work took over a month to rectify when it was mentioned everything would be done before our tenancy.

During the tenancy agreement our Oven broke in which I was left without an oven for over 3 weeks, they just kept saying we are waiting on the landlords permission..

Towards the end of the tenancy I was extremely dissatisfied in how they handled viewings, I mentioned on 3 occasions I'd like 24 hours notice and this wasn't followed. They also cancelled and no showed without contact, this meant it had an impact on my work/lifestyle balance as I requested to be at the property when viewings took place. Martin&Co didn't even have keys for the property hence a high level of no shows.. Not ideal and clearly they don't know how to communicate.

Overall, it could be the nicest, most luxurious and great value for money and I still wouldn't go with Martin&Co, bad experience all round.
What agent could do to change your mind?
There was a fee for absolute EVERYTHING, they even have the satisfaction in telling you this.

The Most Fradulent company I have ever seen. The agency is not efficient in getting good rent for your flats. They don't even market your flats for tenants. My flat was vacant for three months last year because of their inefficiency. And also they have reduced our rent during the last year when all other flats in the same area are increasing.
