It all started good- 2014 October I was looking for a property in Colchester. I thought to make a change in my life And go away from London. I arranged a property viewing with Rebecca Wheeler(left the company). The property was not what I was looking for, so she showed me another property. It was beautiful, newly decorated. She then started the typical selling pitch that it's not yet live, but she has 1000 viewing arranged. Because I believed her And after 1 hour agreed to take the property. For £900. At first I thought that is okay price, but having lived there for a year, I doubt that the property would go for £800. Anyway. I lived in the property till September, because I bought a new House in London. I asked if I can terminate the contact earlier, but that was not an option. So in August, I allowed the agency to arrange viewings. 50% of the viewings where either cancelled or the estate agent just phoned 5 min before.
Also. The biggest thing happened when I was in process of moving out. The agent came without notice to show the property. And when I found that out, I called to find out why. Rather rude person called Joshua went mental on the phone an asked if I am calling him a liar. Well, he called hinself a liar there. Anyway. Now I have done the check out And waiting for a week for any feedback regarding the deposit (£1000). I do not know who to contact really, because this Joshua is also a Manager. Previous background customer service in Retail. Been in the company less Thank half year. Not got any experience in properties. I would strongly recommend not to rent through this agency. Very unprofessional And costly.
