Hunters are an absolutely terrible estate agency. We put our house on the market with Hunters in December 2014 after it had been on the market with another agent, but we have a property which we used to rent out via hunters and they were put out that we didn't put the house on the market with them.
Everything from start to finish was a complete shambles. From the unprofessional 'girl' that tottered around our house in a tight short dress and high heels taking pictures of our home that turned out to be of very poor quality. Potential buyers were sent to our property unattended knocking on the door at all hours when we hadn't even been told anyone was due to arrive. One poor man was even sent round on a week day when both my husband and I were at work, when this man returned again the next evening we still hadn't been told he was coming, he became very agitated and angry on our doorstep that he had been messed around by Hunters numerous times - we decided to invite him in anyway. Another man showed up late one evening when I was home alone - I had been recently discharged from hospital after an operation, I had no idea of the viewing but the man at the door showed me the text confirming the appointment of which I knew nothing about. This was the norm throughout the time the property was on the market with Hunters.
The pushy agents on the phone were trying to force me and my husband to go to open days of houses that we weren't interested in - then being told that I was being picky when I said I didn't want to view the property. We were emailed properties that they thought we would be interested in purchasing that were miles away from the areas we were looking at.
We decided to take our property off the market with Hunters due to the stress of the situation. Since then we are being hassled by Hunters for money for numerous reasons.
Everyone I have spoke to has had a bad experience with this agent, has anyone else? Please contact me if so.

I am sorry that you were unhappy with the experience. The checkout process can be a difficult time, Hunters work under the industry guidance in these situations and only deduct money where the issue is above the fair wear and tear expected. Our tenants can always dispute this and ask for adjudication ...
