I listed my property with Aberdein Considine Edinburgh in mid-September. I was taken through all the fees and outlays straight away so I knew exactly what I was expected to pay at the end of the process.
From instruction to being on the market was four days. As soon as I instructed them they booked my Home Report with Shephards and arranged for the professional photographer to come out. The Home Report was completed with absolutely no hassle at a time convenient to me and took 30 minutes. The photography took around an hour, with the photographer helping move items of furniture to get the best photographs.
I had multiple viewing requests and these were always passed on very quickly and arranged. After 7 viewings and 3 notes of interest, it was suggested to set a closing date. I agreed to this and 4 days later we had an offer £17000 over the asking price.
I cannot fault the staff at the Edinburgh branch at all, Amy, Anne and Becky were all brilliant and always on top of everything. I would definitely recommend.

Poor and misleading mortgage and insurance advise, poor follow up after purchase. Not much communication. No ID check when collecting keys. Not impressive at all....

We are sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction. All inventories and subsequent lease end rechecks are carried out by wholly independent inventory companies who are AICC or APIP accredited. Aberdein Considine have no input into the creation of these reports and act solely on the information received from them. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed).
