This rental is absolutely awful. We viewed a rental with Sruli, we put an offer in, paid a holding deposit then did not hear from them for 6 days. We rung the office every day, and Sruli's mobile - no answer. We finally went to find their office and Britannic House which was empty and did not have any signs up, a new build with no sign of a rental company. We then finally got a text from Sruli saying he will give our deposit back. This was 2 days before we were due to move out of our current house. He gave no explanation or anything. We have finally received our money back - almost 2 weeks later. AWFUL.

What agent could do to change your mind?
First of all, they should pick up their calls. and the next thing is they need to publish the rent of the property correctly, rather than asking bunch of people to view the property and putting auction. also they need to respect the prospective customers. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
