By far the worst agent I have ever rented through. We were deceived from the start by the agent who persuaded us to agree to a 6 month break clause as the landlord always wants a 6 month break clause and didn't know us as tenants. We told the agent that we were looking for at least 18 months as we were expecting our first baby. Four months into the tenancy we were served a S21 notice as the landlord had decided to sells property. When we spoke to our neighbours they told us that before we moved into the property the landlord had the property on the sales market but it failed to sell. Clearly the agent knew from the start that the landlord's intention was always to sell at 6 months and acted immorally. On top of this their property management department is a complete joke. We had to keep chasing for repairs and were either ignored or received garbled or out of office messages from so baby different people we had no idea who we were dealing with. None of our requests were dealt with during the 6 months we were living at the property. On top of this when we moved out they tried to deduct £300 from our deposit due to stains on the carpet that were already present and detailed on the checkin report when we originally moved in! They also tried to charge us for 8 light bulbs when 6 were detailed as not working in the original check in. Their property management team are shambolic and the service us non-existent. They have no idea what they are doing and the high turnover of staff means it's impossible to receive any sort if continuity. I would never ever rent through this appalling immoral company ever again.
What agent could do to change your mind?
There is nothing this agent can do. They are shocking in every way.

Multiple errors on the lease agreement after requesting a simple extension to push the rent due date to the 29th of each month. No ability to negotiate an unfair, landlord heavy lease as after requesting a copy of the lease weeks in advance, only received ...

Negotiated the lease in an open, fair and reasonable way. Not delayed the release of the lease to myself to allow me to review despite multiple requests. Followed simple instructions and requests and check their work before releasing multiple incorrect versions of the lease for agreement. Once mistake in calculation identified, write a full apology and requesting politely that I agree the requested amendment. Ultimately pay the shortfall now due to the landlord through their incompetence and apologise for the harassment, threatening emails and bullying tactics.

Above average, charged for production of the lease but did not accept any requested amendments so not sure what exactly I paid for other than simply populating a word document with addresses, dates and amounts which they didnt even manage to do correctly.

Very disappointed with service - Lack of communication and general interest in pursuing a sale - lots of viewings but totally unsuitable - unfriendly service and rather stuffy. Always got the impression they had bigger fish to fry! Would not use again or recommend!...
