First of all, this is one of the most expensive agencies I have ever used (high admin and moving out fees, requirement to have professionally cleaned carpets when moving out etc.).
The property was not in a good condition at all when we moved in: door lock was poor providing little security, chest of drawers were falling apart (they were not assembled correctly), the house needed a clean (crumbles in the kitchen, dust), mould was painted over in the bathroom (and later re-appeared; what a surprise?!). We cleaned the house and assembled furniture correctly.
Moving out was the worst experience as suddenly we were told that the flat was not adequately cleaned. We were charged over 100 pounds for the 'professional cleaner' to do a bit of descaling?!? Given that when we moved in, the flat wasn't clean, I highly doubt that the cleaner was actually called in to descale the bathroom. Moreover, this was all arranged after new tenants had moved in so it feels like we simply paid for nothing!
Email conversations with the staff were usually quite rude and unfriendly and made us feel like the agency simply wants to take as much money off us as possible. We were even 'accused' of making a burn mark in the bathroom, even though later on we showed through the inventory pictures that it was there when we moved in.
Definitely would not recommend.

I can confirm this comment. The ‘professional’ was surprised that we were waiting at the property to accompany him. He had already just not turned up the first day he was due. He told us he likes to turn up unannounced. We soon discovered why. The check out service was shockingly bad. A few photos were clicked off. Damage was missed which we had to point out to him.
