In August 2011 we decided, after 26-years, to downsize. As we had met Robert Nagle recently when he showed us a property that we were interested in purchasing, and found him very professional and affable, we decided to give Leese&Nagle the opportunity to value our house. This they did, along with three other major players in the Bristol Property Market.
We appointed Leese&Nagle on the understanding that we would place the house with them for a total period of no
more than 3-months and if was unsold at the end of that period we would then remove it from the market until the Spring of 2012.
We had very close contact with Mark Leese during the preparation and planning of full-colour brochures and advertising pages for Clifton Life and Bristol Magazine (Robert Nagle was on holiday during this period).
The house went on the market on Monday 5th September with a viewing day planned for the following Saturday.
Two interested parties expressed an interest in viewing the house prior to the viewing day and subsequently did so and then asking to return on the Saturday with their respective husbands.
On Thursday the 8th September (i.e three days after the house hitting the market) a couple visited with Robert Nagle and viewed the house. 15-minutes after leaving, and when the Agent was still with us, they rang him with a cash offer which we accepted.
Exchange of Contract was swift but with a Completion date in January in order that we could all spend a final Christmas in our present homes.
At all time - prior to/during/and since the sale of our house we have had nothing but 5* service from both partners of the business and our visits to their office have always met with courtesy and friendliness by their excellent staff.
We note the comments on previous reviews but can only say, that in our experience, if you treat people with decency and respect then the chances are very much in your favour that the recipients will do likewise.
We cannot imagine any employee of Leese&Nagle being impolite, indifferent or dismissive of anyone who might call at their office or appoint them.
