When i started letting with manners i was in a rush to find a property and i could not recommend using them again for the following reasons.
The fees are particularly high compared to other estate agents.
Many fees are charging £30 for a one line reference is particularly insulting.
Fees for checking In - out and reserving properties are high.
Most galling however is the blase approach to the tenants rights to privacy, and even basic security of their financial information.
After paying the first set of fees the agent took the details off my card including the security number from the back of the card. This is a practice which is not allowable and i had to argue the case for them not taking these detials from me.
When performing inspections they would send an email and turn up 2 days later regardless of the response. I was very surprised to see a text alert from my security camera with a picture of someone with a clipboard walking around my house. Coming home and seeing an email from the day before stating that they would be coming to perform an inspection that day.
I had not agreed to the inspection on a day and time when i was not present and no written notice was given.
Completely disappointed with the service provided
