We had to terminate our agreement with Andrew Hunt Estate Agents as they were significantly in arrears in passing on tenant rents to us. This resulted in us unearthing other questionable practices. In the end we had to result to the court system, where we successfully achieved a judgement against them. I would advise any landlord to think twice, if not three times, before considering using them. For us it has been a very painful experience! As at the date of writing this review, more than 12 months since we terminated our agreement with Andrew Hunt Estate Agents, our dispute is still not fully resolved.

Tell me , do/did you get annual accounts with where your maintenance charge was spent?
We get a badly presented excel sheet that my six year old could do better.
There is nothing clear about anything on there.e.g.
Maintenance and repairs. - £2438.41
Maintenance fees - £1500.00
Gardening £1200.00
The only maintenance was the gardening and the only repair was on the stairwell lighting that his Eastern European chippie put in the year before.

Surely there must be some mistake? Andrew Hunt claims that although he writes on websites he is a Letting Agent he has nothing to do with letting properties and that a company which operates out of his offices and staff who answer the phone or who are contactable by email at [email protected] do not really work for Andrew Hunt and work for a completely different company altogether set up three months ago - but this review is from May 2013 so it appears Mr Hunt is trying to mislead various agen ...
