On the death of my mother, and living away from Newcastle, we considered a number of local (NE3) estate agents when wanting to sell her house. We chose Jan Forster Estates and have been very pleased with the work they have done and the resulting sale in the face of some challenges.
Throughout the process from initial valuation, to promotional material, viewings, management of offers, acceptance of final offer, exchange of contracts, and completion, we found the staff at Jan Forster knowledgeable, helpful, and responsive, and willing to go the extra mile to get things done quickly and effectively. When hit by delays in our buyer's chain, Jan Forster staff worked particularly hard up and down the chain to unblock things and get to a speedy resolution. We were impressed that staff from the two Brunton Park and Gosforth High Street branches worked easily and effectively together as a team with different staff pitching in to help where needed. At varying times, we have talked to 10-12 Jan Forster staff, all of whom have been universally helpful. While too many to mention all, Helen Lane, Judith Taylor, Kurt Buckby, Marilyn Simpson and Sarah McCann spent considerable time working on our behalf.
In what proved to be a sale with some complexities, the Jan Forster team did a great job for us. They definitely delivered and I am happy to recommend them.

Very high but so are they all. My one little thing is you had copies of our passports but still we had to pay extra for an imagration check. This should be included in the fee if nessary.
