I had an extremely positive experience with Countrywide Byres Rd. right from the valuation where Gavin made sure my questions were answered and he made sure he brought up things I hadn't even thought of! As a first sale for me I was very worried I would miss an important question. I was passed on to Iona once I had contacted them to advise I would go ahead and use them. Iona took me through the next steps advising me on each part that was required with no pressure. She gave me the number of the lawyer they normally use and had them contact me upon my request. Although I'm sure there would have been no problem had I had my own lawyer. They arranged the home report also although again I was free to get my own. I was sent the schedule to review prior to it being uploaded to Internet and printed. Once it was back to them, approved, the house was on the internet that evening, I was contacted at least once a week with updates of interest/ viewings (I wasn't living in the property at the time and they were conducting the viewings). They were available or returned calls in a timely manner if I required any info. They could advise on market movement around my flat and actively contacted prospective buyers to advise of my flat being available. Once a buyer and offer had been made/accepted I was passed on to the lawyers however I still had a couple calls from Iona just to make sure I was happy and that everything was still going smoothly. Although selling a house is very atressful I have to say I felt very safe in the service I received. They took a lot of the stress away and really could explain things in a way to let me understand where I stood and what my options were. I woild highly recommend this team and was more than happy with the service I received.

Pretty standard to the agents I had out to give valuation. Although they included the cost of them completing the viewings within the fee which made my life easier.

Avoid like the plague. They will not answer emails, they will not fix problems, they will lie and then finally your deposit will be raided to pay for things they didn't fix during your tenancy....
