We've had a terrible experience with Bridgfords and cannot stress enough that they should be avoided. We found our dream apartment in Leeds. The viewing was very quick under 4 minutes actually being in the apartment. The letting agent was ill prepared did not not much about the apartment and did not have any energy efficiency information with her. She promised the apartment would be thoroughly cleaned and everything fixed before the move in. Hardly anything was clean. There was cigarette ashes on the bed, soiled curtains, broken pieces, heavy mold. There was even dirty dishes in the cabinets with moldy coffee and food crumbs on them. The letting agent also repeated on two occasions to me that there was no difference in adding my boyfriend to the contract at the beginning or later on. Turns out there was, the whole contract restarted we were forced to stay an extra three months. All our energy bills were cancelled and we were placed back on the default VERY expensive Spark provider. I called and talked to them and they refused to apologize at any point for providing clearly wrong information because I had already signed the contract.
When we report something broken or not working we have to repeatedly call and follow up till they come. They never follow up or get it done with out numerous reminders.
They're extremely difficult and rude to work with. Have a very "it's our rules" attitude.

Comment on agent fees
We paid ‚£600 in letting agent fees specially because we loved the apartment so much. It's not worth the money.
