When I moved into my property and discovered the immersion heater was not working I reported this straight away. The agency organised an electrician the next day who determined the problem required a plumber to fix the problem. However since then it has been 6 weeks and despite contacting every week to ask for an update no one is able to give me any information on how long it is going to take to fix my hot water not even a potential date, and now seem to be ignoring my emails entirely.
The flat was in a complete mess when I arrived and had not been cleaned. There are a number of repairs that needed to be made upon moving into the flat that despite reporting on moving in, I have heard nothing about (including a security issue with locks broken). Overall I do not think they maintain the property well.
What agent could do to change your mind?
When fees are paid I would hope that the agency can therefore maintain a property well and promptly and this has not been the case. The fees would be appropriate if there was a good quality service.
