I had two estate agents come and value my property and chose to go with Paul Carr because they offered me a free energy certificate and an asking price that i felt was achievable and fair although it was lower than the other valuation. Photos were good and the property was placed on the market. All good, however after placing the property on the books everything went very quiet. I had requested that they do all viewings as i was unavailable. This rarely happened and my elderly mother was left to show prospective buyers round unaccompanied. When an agent did show up he was scruffy and very unprofessional in his manner and in his sales pitch. The staff in the office did very little and after 6 months of not having 1 offer I cancelled my agreement with them and went with another agent who I am pleased to say got me an offer which I accepted within 3 weeks!!

I have dealt with Paul Carr Estate Agents for many years and can only speak good things about them and their integrity as a company. I think their popularity locally, longevity and general feel of the majority of these reviews would highlight that they are far from corrupt.
It can be frustrating when you don't get what you want and, whilst everyone is entitled to their opinion, perhaps such a childish reaction is best kept to yourself - we are all adults here after all... ...
