Richard Parker has run first two and then one letting for me or around twelve years now. In that time we must have had something like ten different tenants, although the the last one has stayed for eight years!

In all,that time, I can honestly say that I have never had a serious issue with a tenant, and certainly there has never been a time when rent has been an issue, due, I suspect to his intense vetting of tenants rather than good luck. Neither house has been empty at the end of a tenancy, nor has anybody left prior to the end of their tenancy.

This is not a love fest. There have of course been disagreements with Richard, but the bottom line is that Parker's are honest, efficient, and honourable, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. They are not the cheapest, but given the risks that landlords take, and especially if you are new to the business, probably the best value.

I feel that the fees, although in line with other agencies are, especially for renewals, excessive for the tenants

We have done everything possible to find you suitable alternative accommodation, liaising with the local authority and your chartiable organisation. We even chauffeured you to property viewing, but you concluded the property was 'too small'. Funny that exact same thing happened to me with Richard he also hung up on me during phonecalls when I still had more I wanted to raise. Always promised to get back to me regarding my query and never did. So glad I no longer have any ties with parkers. The only good person in the office is kelly. Stay well clear ...
