Horrible experience first off when the fridge broke that came with the property and we requested it be fixed or replaced due to the fact I was pregnant and was afraid of consuming spoiled food baseless took it upon themselves to let the landlords know that we can get a fridge from FMO. So I had to let them know that's my entitlement to decide to use and not for them to decide to let the landlords know what we as military get and don't get. When it came to check out we ended up doing it 3 weeks before we left the country we had been told 5 business days for the landlords to decide an amount of money to be taken from our deposit since they would be needing to get a quote....... By day 5 we nothing , by day 7 we had nothing I called to let them know that i was on to them I'm sure they where waiting for us to leave the country so we couldn't contest to whatever number they had been making up. The day before we left they got a figure. 550gbp there was no invoice saying how they came to this amount only the closing record with all the issues that had been spotted a couple including a couple of tiny nail holes, a couple of grubby spots on blindes and slight scuffing on the walls. After getting base housing involved and as well as telling them we had hired the cleaning done so they would come clean what was missed for free as well as stating we wanted to get a quote done they continued to put us off after an entire month we finally got an so called invoice with only the amount stated no listed for individual things being done and cost for time involved. We felt that 150gbp was more than fair the landlords said no so we said 100gbp. DPS stated that nail holes are normal if the landlords have pictures up assume tenants will as well. Baskets says on the final check out sheet slight scuffing normal, and the blinds had been grubby bc they had not been replaced since two previous tenants so you can't have us pay for someone else's damage. Baseless is there to benefit the landlords they step in and say you are trying to charge for things that go against our guidelines or even give tenants the chance to make the most of their deposits they should be ashamed for taking advantage of people that feel like there is nothing they can do because they won't be there dodgy! The military community should put them out of business! As you can see they have no place to post bc all the feedback would say they are shit ! We only ended up giving the 100gbp fight that shit till the end it will pay off
