Fife lettings Cowdenbeath - having had tenants in our property for a few years I was expecting some work to do to bring back to standard. What I didn't expect was a complete lack of attention to detail from FLS in that time. A huge water damaged part of the bedroom wall, and many many more issues not even reported to us. Contractors used by FLS are dubious to say the least. Roofers that build walls or try to should I say. Electricians that rip brand new carpets up to install cables without care or attention, knowing the property was vacant for a few weeks. 4 months plus to sort out a brickie to fix a wall. We managed to get it sorted in 3 days!. All easy jobs that were seemingly too difficult for FLS. Under a full managed service I would have expected the letting agency to liaise with the contractors they ordered in but apparently not according to Wendy. That was our responsibility? ??
Poor customer service and a general lack of attention to detail. Would I recommend? Most definately not. Landlords beware. Seriously!!

Thanks for the review, You do have the option to dispute this with the deposit company and provide them with your evidence. It would then be up to an adjudicator to make a decision on this. ...

I was disappointed to see this review as I am looking to change from my current agent due to late rent payments not being chased - and more importantly lack of communication.
I recognise that relationships may have broken down -
Are you able to outline how you deal with late payments (both in regard t the tenant and landlord) and what is done to chase these up?
