I asked for a sole agency sale this summer.I was told 1%, 14 days a dozen professional photos,a professional energy performance Certificate-EPC,what the property could be worth, a viewing open Saturday,some feed back on detail from potential 4 offers and I would strongly advise any other potential vendor reading this,find out as much as you can from all potential offers,why they chose that price-the text book supply and demand sets the selling price !
Comment on agent fees
One per cent seems to be the going rate-and having the resource of 2 sales staff in the Horsham office to give professional advice and the manager,the fees are allocated several ways, It is during these viewings finding out what the viewers offer price is and why,might seem non productive to senior management,but it really is the building block to a successful house sale,in this case finding direction from all corners and not letting one detail compromise the sale , the response and work carried out by the Horsham Office is consistent and very much appreciated,thank you Guy.
