As new to tenants to renting a property (whilst waiting six months for the owners of the home we had purchased to find somewhere to move on to), we were extremely grateful for the compasionate and professional service offered by Manning Stainton Lettings. Jan (Freeman) is delightful! She made us feel like she was our mum (or certainly big sister) guiding us in the initial stages and also in showing new prospective tenants the property. She is warm and caring and a clear asset to the company when forming those all important first impressions. We will miss her - what a lovely person ! James Selby as property manager was extremely patient and helpful in correcting the problems we encountered when we first moved to the rental property - including rallying quickly to locate heaters when we found the boiler did not work on the first day we moved in December. He quickly arranged repairs and was keen to make our stay a comfortable one. He always remained calm despite the clear pressure of the job and nothing was too much trouble. On the final visit we met Laura who had the task of inspecting the property. She was highly professional - clearly combining the interests of her client the landlady, with the need for tenants to receive their deposit back subject to a satisfactory inspection. She was extremely thorough - checking for dust, cleanliness and any damages (with military precision) yet she was friendly and helpful at all times. She made us feel appreciated for our effort to look after the property and genuinely pleased that we were to receive our full deposit back. We would have no hesitation in recommending highly Manning Stainton and their excellent staff to both landlords and tenants.
Comment on agent fees
Lovely area, modern four bed detached with replacement kitchen and bathrooms - worth paying that little bit above the average for a lovely home like this one (included ‚£40 gardening fees per month).
