We had our house on the market in 2014 with another agent and were having no luck with the sale, very few viewings and no offers in approximately 10 months. We were approached by Reeds Rains in early 2015 and Tracy and Sue came to the house to see us and value the property. They were very positive about the house and very confident they could sell the house. Tracy was so confident that she could not only get plenty of viewings but that the house would be sold by July 2015. My last experience with a previous estate agent was very poor, severe lack of communication and they did not seem interested in selling the property for us. Reeds Rains were a breath of fresh air with regular weekly phone calls from Tracy and Gemma with plenty of information regarding marketing the property, this then lead to a lot of viewings , averaging about 1 a week. Eventually the house sold and we completed in July. I cannot recommend Tracy, Gemma, Sue and the rest of the staff at Reeds Rains in Chesterfield enough, nothing was too much work, no matter how many phone calls I made to them and how many questions I asked they were always happy to help. Thank you for a great service.

There are options available for cheaper estate agents, but for the service I received the fee was very good value for money.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

If you wish to complain, you would need to write in the first instance to the branch involved. This branch would acknowledge receipt of your letter/email and then respond within 15 working days. If you were still unhappy with the outcome you would need to contact our Area Manager whose details would be given upon receipt of complaint.
