Rather disappointed, felt like we were constantly trying to chase Manners to contact the landlord. Some issues were not resolved throughout tenancy as there was nothing they could force the landlords to do, even when we finally got a Council Notice served on the property we still had to chase agents to follow-up with the landlords and progress thereon. Needless to say we finally gave up after 1 year and 2 months. It is even more heartbreaking that at the end of our tenancy the agents decide that they want to deduct a checkout charge of £115.00 + VAT (contract only states the cost of checkout but no amount indication) against our deposit. We thought this was excessive, so we phoned the company that did the check out report and asked for a quote in regards to checkout charge for a 1 bedroom unfurnished flat, through an agency in the Woking area. We were told it would be £70.00. I confronted the agency with this knowledge... I have not heard back from them since.
It may not seem like a lot, but in conjunction with the original fees at start of tenancy in the amount of £424.80 (none of which included any deposit/rent)... it feels like we are being taken for a ride.
In total for all charges it will be in excess of £560.00 ... It is a lot of money in anyones books.

I'm sorry to read your review detailing the situation you've experienced with regards to the maintenance of the property during your tenancy, and I completely understand your frustrations. As you know we weren't involved in the ongoing management of the property concerned so unfortunately we had little authority regarding any maintenance issues you had. Having said that I know our property managers worked hard to try and resolve these issues directly with the Landlord, despite being outside our remit.
With regards to our fees we outline them in full prior to the commencement of any tenancy but I'm afraid I can't discuss your individual deposit return (with associated deductions) on a review site, however, I would be more than happy to discuss them directly with you should you wish to contact me further.
