Corrupt ! I informed the agents that I intended to vacate the property early as they had not carried essential electrical work and it was in a dangerous condition. They ignored all my letters ,emails and phone calls .They also deny any knowledge of me reporting any faults to them, despite the fact they did send out an electrician to do the work but he said he'd be negligent to attempt to put right the electrics as there was no RCD protection and he'd have to inform the agents. They chose to ignore his advice and are disputing my deposit ,adding on charges for decorating and professional cleaning. They are issuing (what I believe ) bogus invoices for extortionate amounts for cleaning etc. I've googled the cleaning company "Carl Stratton Lets Clean" and it doesn't seem to exist. I am in the process of reporting them to Action Fraud. Avoid at all costs, you have been warned. Managing director is David Crooke, * need I say more!
What agent could do to change your mind?
Admit they are lying, address the issues, instead of taking the easy option of burying their heads in the sand.
