Richard Carpenter has been the ideal agent from our first meeting until exchange on the property we are purchasing. He was extremely professional on the viewing, being able to answer most questions we asked without need to reference documentation and for the very few questions he could not answer immediately, he contacted us with the information with speed and accuracy. As our purchase progressed, he was available to help us whenever we needed him. We have had a rather difficult progression to exchange and Richard left no stone unturned to ensure our purchase progressed, dealing with each issue in a friendly and professional manner while going the extra mile (several times) not only to solve problems but also keeping in contact with us and putting our minds at ease that here was an Estate Agent who knows his job inside out, has the experience to make the experience the best possible, and also to do this with charm and efficiency. I cannot speak highly enough of Richard and hope his contribution is not under estimated ... our purchase had some very challenging times that, without him, may never have been resolved and carried through to a sale. He does not waste your time but is always available, courteous in the extreme and highly effective! I was only sorry we had not known of him previously, I would have used him for our sale and would not hesitate to recommend him, personally, to anyone looking for the best Estate Agent out there (in my opinion). I would like to add that I have moved 21 times, including 16 house purchases, and I have NEVER encountered an agent of Richard's calibre before. I cannot comment on Fine and Country in general as Richard has been our sole point of contact. I know this review may seem a bit fulsome, but I have been so impressed.
