As co-executor for my mother's will (deceased Jan 2015) and one of 4 siblings, between us we interviewed and shortlisted three agents in Abingdon. We rapidly reached the unanimous decision to run with Oliver James Ltd (Colin Steel) as the smaller and personal agency who clearly knew the local market, in preference to the two larger 'bells and whistles' agencies which we felt could lose interest if a quick sale did not provide their bonus.
Colin Steel built our confidence, with a low key manner and diligent attention to detail, from sales particulars (photos/ text vetting by us all!), through to calming the anxious buyer when Grant of Probate held up contract exchange for reasons quite beyond our control. Contract completion went through smoothly, the entire process from first publicity to handover took 3 months, and we believe Colin Steel achieved a near record figure for the Fitzharry's estate.
