Should have really realised that this was one to avoid when they charged a 'non refundable' £300 holding deposit, landlord didnt bother to fix anything on our inventory. Went downhill quickly when it took 4 months to fix our Boiler over the cold winter period and was made to feel like a fake as they didnt believe that we had the same error message even after their fixes. Was told at start that we could have rolling contract after 12 months, when we needed this we wernt allowed to do it, meaning we had to move out. before we knew we had to move we were offered to extend by 12 months but were told landlord was putting up rent. Once we said we had to move, they then marked the property on the open marked at £50 a month less than we were offered. Now we are in a battle for our deposit as we are being told that we have to pay for a lightbulb (one blew while we were moved out) and marks on walls which were not us, even though no effort was made to remove marks, cat scratch marks and chipped plaster before we moved in. Not impressed, not using them again, and certainly not recommending them.

We don’t charge a holding deposit. I am sorry but we explain everything on great detail. That is a fee for your administration and referencing. If you fail the references which are formed externally so as to be fair and transparent it usually is because you have said something that is deemed to be incorrect.this is a decision you make when applying and the referencing company makes when they discover. We are always here to talk about the options. .the questions we ask are very straight forward and we try to prequalify with you first so as to avoid this issue .

David, First of all the extensive advice you’re on about never happened. Stop making it sound like you’re a professional. We both know you exaggerated the damages so you could claim our money. You were not helpful whatsoever when I called the office to discuss the issue even before the claim. We make a huge effort to look after our tenants and landlords so obviously this is an extremely hurtful review to receive. When we as a company pride ourselves on the awards we have won for our commitment to customer service for both landlords and tenants, alike as well as the training we undergo to achieve qualifications to be registered with ARLA where the legalities of renting are learnt and where we are regulated. We have gone to a lot of trouble to find out who wrote this but unfortun ...
