We have moved house several times but never before have I appreciated the value and worth of an estate agent in getting the deal done. And getting it done right.
We bought and sold using Country Properties, in a large and difficult chain, and it would not have succeeded without their expertise, sensitivity, relationship skills and professional approach.
James Evans and Rebecca Hedger were always at the end of the phone, pro-actively advising and moving things forward, pre-empting difficult hurdles and ensuring all relationships were smoothly managed and, of utmost importance, that goodwill was maintained throughout. This is critical to the success of a sale and purchase during what is the most emotional, personal and expensive transaction of most people's lives!
I would thoroughly recommend them. Particularly in the advent of 'online' and 'do-it-yourself' estate agent firms springing up left, right and centre. This was in some part the culprit of our difficult chain and Country Properties went above and beyond what was strictly their remit due to the absence of professional estate agents further down the chain. It is a fact that our entire chain benefited from their skill and tireless efforts. We cannot thank them enough for their sound advice and support in acquiring our dream family home.
