We have bought two properties in Edinburgh through McQueen Legal in the last two years and each time Jane was the negotiator. I found the system of putting in a bid while not knowing what other bids were likely to be made quite stressful. In each case we were successful in the first bid we made on a property and did not have to experience losing out on a place we really liked though there were large numbers of expressions of interest on both properties and other bids. We have bought two lovely places, first a flat for our daughter and then a lower villa for my husband and me. Jane obviously gave us good advice on the sort of bid that might be successful though of course it was our decision what to bid. Flats in my daughter's street are now selling for a higher price than we paid. Jane was also very kind, reassuring and willing to listen to all my anxieties and worries in a non-judgemental and supportive way. I felt I could hold her hand throughout. If she ever decides on a career change, I would recommend counselling. Dorothy Woodward who did the legal work in each case was also very kind and approachable. I had no hesitation in using McQueen Legal again because of my very positive experience when buying the first property and would highly recommend their service.
