My wife and I used Copes when we bought our flat that we have now sold, so, as their service was second to none then, it made sense to use them again. Everything that they have done, or for which they have been responsible has been done promptly and efficiently, with friendliness and charm. Outside core requirements, they prepared the EPC at reasonable cost, and helped me personally with a problem that was not their responsibility, with the same commitment and efficiency as everything else. Our managing agents remarked that Copes is one of the best estate agents in Grays, and, so far as I am concerned, and, I would recommend to others who accept the above, why on earth would you go anywhere else? If I move again, unlikely, I definitely will.

They are profession standard at 1.5% for sole agents.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.

Complaints Procedure

Complaints ProcedureLettings Complaint Procedure 1. Please raise your complaint with the property manager or sales advisor that is handling your case. 2. If the sales advisor / property manager cannot resolve the issue for you then please put your complaint in writing addressed to the Lettings Manager for that particular branch. 3. We will acknowledge to your complaint in writing within 5 working days. We will also start a full investigation. 4. In line with The Property Ombudsman guidelines a full written outcome will be sent to you within 15 working days. 5. If you are not satisfied with the full written outcome response from the Branch Manager you can write to theManaging Director. They will then respond to you with a statement of the final view of the matter within 15 working days of receipt. 6. If you are still not satisfied with the outcome, you can raise your complaint with the: The Property Ombudsman Milford House 43-55 Milford Street Salisbury Wiltshire SP1 2BP 7. When you have raised a complaint with The Property Ombudsman they will write to us as agents requesting our Property File and our version of the events.
