Selling your house is all about people and for that reason we would recommend the Walmgate Branch, York of Preston Baker for the service we received.
Helen was our first contact to value, market and sell our house, Helen was honest and personable, she gave robust advice and had great knowledge of the current market. Understandably in the market in 2014 we didn't receive a suitable offer, although we had had viewings. We decided to withdrawn from the market and during this time Helen had not forgotten about us and arranged a viewing in early 2015, who ended up being our buyer, fantastic.
Karen is the type of person you need to keep the progress moving; surveys, paperwork, contracts and all manner of other communications and documentation needed to complete the sale. Karen has an attitude of getting the job done, this includes keeping us informed of the progress and letting us know when we need to make a decision or press for action. This is when you realise that Estates Agents can take some of the hassle away from house buying and selling, Karen was on the phone questioning and asking to keep our sale as a priority with the solicitors.
