Would I recommend Saleboards as an estate agent? Absolutely! Why? For a number of applaudable reasons. Without exception, every member of staff delivered a first class service; from the moment I stepped into the house that I wanted to buy to the support that was offered post-completion. How did I reach this conclusion?
For these reasons:
1. I received an efficient response and early appointment time to view the house I was interested in buying.
2. I was shown the house in question by a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable member of staff who had done his homework and pre-empted my questions with good solid answers.
3. When I expressed a genuine interest in the house I asked if I could have a valuation on my property. Less than half an hour later a valuation was arranged for that same evening.
4. The process of selling my house was explained to me in a very clear and unrushed fashion during my valuation appointment which I found very re-assuring. Incredibly, the valuer had found time to research the market and gave me an accurate valuation of my house during our appointment. I was so impressed with the level of efficiency I decided to put my house up for sale with Saleboards.
5. The very next morning, Saleboards were at my house taking very professional photographs which were promptly uploaded to their website, as well as on Rightmove and Zoopla. Meanwhile the sales team were busy on the phones lining up prospective buyers and a high quality, glossy brochure of my house was created quickly.
6. The response to the sales and marketing was immediate and right from the word go I had a stream of prospective buyers viewing my house.
7. As a result, my house sold above the asking price in just under a week. I also managed to acquire the house I wanted to buy from Saleboards in the same week.
8. A few weeks later my buyers decided to withdraw their offer for unknown reasons which came as an unwelcome shock. However, Saleboards softened the blow by dealing with this delicate matter very well. They offered a great deal of back-up support, and managed to persuade my buyers to give me a chance to sell my house again. The sales team pulled out all the stops and this time, my house sold within 10 days!
9. There were lengthy delays for searches at the city council lasting 9 weeks and also my new buyers seemed to be in no rush to commit to the house purchase. This is where the infinite patience and diplomatic skills of the staff at Saleboards was priceless. At times the process crept by incredibly slowly, which was out of our control, but I was kept informed of the progress almost on a daily basis. The level of service was incredibly professional.
To conclude, I would say the service I received from Saleboards wasn¢â‚¬â„¢t good... it was exceptional. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The staff showed real integrity, honesty, were very supportive and collectively, they formed a very solid, very friendly unit ¢â‚¬â€œ which is exactly the sort of team you want behind you when you are embarking on the stresses of buying and selling property.
