Steve McConville was helpful right from the moment we were introduced to him. He made time for us out of hours to go through our application, dealt with several estate agents on our behalf and talked us through anything we were unsure of without hesitation.
We're currently about to complete on the house that Steve helped us with, and he proved to be quicker and more reliable than going through the process with our bank, and was much cheaper than the often unscrupulous in-house teams at other estate agencies. Steve was able to find us great deals when it came to insurance and other products that we requested, at prices that we would have been unable to find ourselves. To top it off, he did all the paperwork for these products on our behalf, saving us lots of time and confusion.
Whenever a problem arose with our application, Steve and his assistant Kerry Deighton were able to tackle it for us and often speak directly to the people necessary to put things right, which we would have certainly been unable to do.
I would absolutely use Steve's services again for buying or selling, and have recommended to several friends that they do so.
A special mention should also go out to Paul Dutton. We were initially due to process our application with Paul but due to a prior commitment he was unable to do so. He talked us through the process, the fees and the most likely timeline / sequence of events, as well as giving us a list of the most suitable products and some recommended solicitors. What had seemed like a daunting, difficult and lengthy process seemed much more approachable after speaking with Paul. Paul also recommended that we deal with Steve in his absence, and the two of them were invaluable during our purchase.

Comment on agent fees
Steve's fees were great - much better the in-house teams at other estate agents - and may have actually been reduced due to commission on some of the products we used. Steve was very transparent on his fees, commission and the finances involved throughout the process, and we trusted him to handle our purchase as a result.
