Hello Mr Richardson,
I am writing to you to thank you for the excellent service we received from your team at the Chelmsford branch - in particular James Knight and Damian Buck.
Immediately we signed with Haart we could see the difference from our previous Estate Agents in terms of attitude, professionalism and communication.
Ben explained to us at the outset that our semi rural location was going to be the key to our sale but that effectively we were still asking a lot of money for what was, at the end of the day, still a two bed semi. This set our expectations correctly from the start - it was explained that we wouldn't have a lot of viewers but those people that were sent to view would be people who would value what this house had to offer. This proved to be very true, the team were extremely proactive and their efforts to send the right people to us meant that we received positive feedback which was very encouraging and made us know that, after our previous bad experience, we were now on the right track.
Both Damian and James are very efficient, they own the process and always do what they say they will do, if they don't have an answer then they will find it and most importantly they engage with you and show a personal interest in driving things forward.
In the last few weeks coming up to exchange there were the normal delays and communication problems but James really took control and established the contacts that were needed to push this along. We are absolutely sure that without James taking such an active role it could have drifted for several more weeks. By this stage I had handed in my notice to take up a new job in Cornwall at the beginning of July and there was the awful realisation that if we lost this sale I would be living in Chelmsford and working in Cornwall. Throughout this period James was incredibly supportive and understood that I needed reassurance to know that we were progressing and he stayed in daily contact, sometimes even 3/4 times a day. We so appreciated this because we could tell how busy he was with other appointments and clients yet he never once made me feel I was being a pest and never rushed to close off a conversation when I was telling him yet again how stressful it all was - as if he didn't know !
We have been extremely impressed and we will never let anybody say to us ' I don't know what estate agents do for their money' - because we definitely do know !
Please pass on our thanks to the whole team, particularly Aaron, Justine and Ben, they are a real credit to you.
Thank you again - you have all played a big part in making our dream of moving to Cornwall come true,
