Working with this company was very difficult. They are very slow at getting work done and will repeatedly make excuses or say the problem is your fault. They were extremely hard work, he is a very condescending person who gets horribly defensive if he knows he's wrong - he has made me cry on the phone before with how rude he is. I was only with this company for six months, I got out of my contract as soon as possible because of the intense difficulties I had. I had problems from day one: the boiler didn't work (it was 22 years old and a safety hazard), then the problems just escalated - the shower leaked in the kitchen, the curtains were falling off, the ceiling fell in, we had consistent power cuts because the shower leak went directly onto a power supply, there was mould in a kitchen cupboard, the sink started leaking on a Sunday afternoon and because there is no emergency number we had to just try to contain it to the best of our ability - Ian arrived the next morning and got angry at me for the leak reaching the floor (we had to empty the bucket underneath four times that night, of course it was going to overflow at some point without us realising), he rudely told me to CLEAN IT UP NOW, we have been charged accordingly for the water damage to the floor because this was obviously 100% our fault and not Ian's in anyway. His excuse for not having an emergency number was that not many people work on Sundays. It took 3 months just for this company to send out a maintenance worker to look at the leak, it was never fixed in the time we were there.They insisted that this was okay because we also had a bath but he refused to reply to emails once I notified him of our outrageously high energy bills which were caused by three people taking a bath once a day each. They will probably reply to this review with more excuses and defences, but what he hasn't realised is that it just makes him look worse and gives all perspective tenants an insight into what they will be dealing with if they work with this company. You will not be respected, you will be treated poorly consistently. I'm really sorry to the people who live in the house I used to rent, its a terrible house. But I hope you enjoy the garden, I spent hours out there making it look pretty with no thanks from the estate agents who had ignored it for years before I moved in. I'm writing this so no one else has to deal with him unwarned.
