What does it say when you think of your estate agent as more of a friend? That it has been a long process - yes! That you have had excellent support through a stressful time - yes! That he speaks to you even when he's on some Greek Island - yes! That you are mentored through your purchase as well as your sale - yes! That even during those moments when he can't be contacted (during the flight!) there is a team there to support - yes! That you are a person first and foremost and not a customer from whom he is making money - absolutely! I know I couldn't have stayed sane without him!
Then I move on to Julie! I chose Fine and Country because I had experience of her doing viewings on previous properties and almost bought through her several years ago. I remembered her because she impressed me - that's how good she is! Do you know what is even more remarkable - she remembered me! She has a natural talent with people, not practiced patter, but a natural rapport and works hard to find the right buyer. Our selling process took 8 months to complete because our sales kept falling through. She kept the communications going, supported us through the challenges and I have no doubt whatsoever that there would not have been a sale without her.
I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them. In my opinion they are not what estate agents should be - they far exceed that!

Comment on agent fees
I'm a Yorkshire lass so of course i'd like it cheaper! Nonetheless if I was going to give my money to anyone, it would be them!

We are committed to providing a professional service to all our clients and customers. When something goes wrong, we need you to tell us about it. This will help us to improve our standards.
If you have a complaint, please follow the following procedure:
Please raise your complaint with the sales advisor that is handling your case.
If the sales advisor cannot resolve the issue for you then please put your complaint in writing addressed to the Branch Manager.
We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint in writing within three working days of receiving it, enclosing a copy of this procedure.
The Branch Manager will then investigate your complaint. They will review your file and speak to the member of staff who dealt with you. A formal written outcome of our investigation will be sent to you within 15 working days of sending the acknowledgement letter.
If you are not satisfied with the full written outcome response from the Branch Manager you can write to the Managing Director will arrange for a separate review to take place. In line with the Ombudsman guidelines the Managing Director will respond to you with a statement of the final view of the matter within 15 working days.
If you are still not satisfied with the outcome, you can raise your complaint with The Property Ombudsman and request an independent review
The Property Ombudsman will request that you have exhausted the internal complaints procedure before contacting them.
When you have raised a complaint with The Property Ombudsman they will write to us as agents requesting our Property File and our version of the events. A case officer will then undertake a formal review of your complaint largely based on the documents from both sides.
