Our property had been on the market with another agent for about 9 months when we took the decision to move to another agent. We chose DJ Alexander and Scott managed the sale for us with thorough professionalism.

We were based overseas while we were selling, with infrequent trips to Scotland - despite this hurdle, Scott kept us informed at every stage of the process. I was particularly impressed by his research into and vetting of prospective buyers. Quite aside from updates after viewings etc., he would send us emails keeping us up to date with how the marketing of the house was going (web views, schedule downloads etc.). Coming from an agent who were not responsive at all this was a huge eye opener as to how a sale should be handled.

When it came to the nitty gritty of the sale itself, Scott was very realistic about the price we should achieve, not blowing smoke up us, and handled the final negotiations with the purchaser in a very timely manner, again keeping us fully in the picture at all times.

Final note - Scott is also a very personable guy, easy to get along with, and has a tendency to put anxious sellers at ease. I'd thoroughly recommend him (and have done so to others already).
