We have had a leak coming down into our flat from the above apartment. once we notified John D Wood it took them almost 3 months to come and look at the problem. In the meantime they blamed us for the contractors not turning up. When the contractors turned they wiped down the mold and painted it over with stain proof paint. we were informed that if the mold returned it would be due to a permanently damaged ceiling and that it would have to be changed.
Consequently the following 6 months there has been a constant mold growth which they have blamed us for, although the room is constantly ventilated from outside 24 hours a day. The extra bad thing is that I am an asthmatic but still nothing is done to repair or change what appear to be a permanently damaged ceiling. In essence we are either being blamed for something we have not done or ignored completely without responding to our questions. Avoid John D Wood like the plague as they will make your life a living hell and then blame you for it!!!

What agent could do to change your mind?
1st, Actually send someone qualified to check out the mold issues instead of a plumber who knocks on the ceiling and says it is just fine. 2nd, not to judge us before having the facts about what is going on. 3rd, to fix the problem. It is highly dangerous for an asthmatic to live and breathe in mold. the complete disregard for other humans well being is complete and is just disgustingAttached Filesnbsp;

Terrible treatment. Violated part of the contract about the cleaning. The apartment is very dirty, on the balcony pigeon poo.
