The agent was very bad at communication if I needed help,but very communicative if they wanted something from me or wanted to give the bad news from the landlord about the flat being put up for sale during the rental period,so a new tenant could not be found to take over rental from me. Letters and phone calls were not acted upon unless I made a fuss or got upset with them at their lack or service . I had to do all the running around trying to pin down the landlord who refers me to Luff if there is something I do not agree with. They are just hard work and not helpfull to the paying tenant.

I feel that once they have your money this agent are no longer interested in the interests of the tenant.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Tell me when and how I will receive my deposit back and keep me updated on the sale of the flat.

We have now liaised with the tenant and have explained the situation in this case.
The history of this is that the tenant moved into the property in November but a couple of months into the tenancy asked for early release due to having to move out of the area. We had agreed this with the landlord if a new tenant was found. This we did. Unfortunately at the very last minute the landlord changed their mind and decided to sell the property, therefore they wanted to hold the tenant to the full term of the six months contract.
Unfortunately this was out of our hands and the landlords decision and the tenant was not happy that they had to pay the full 6 months rent after being told they could leave early.
