When my wife and I walked into the Ramsey Branch of Thomas Morris they immediately stood apart from other estate agents we had visited.
Alison Hull was the first member of the team we spoke to, she had a chat with us and gave some invaluable advice as first time buyers while also arranging an appointment with their mortgage adviser Darren from Partners Financial and then giving us details of a number of properties we may be interested in.
Before we even got home Alison had emailed us a useful timeline of events that occur during the buying process so we could get a feel for the time frame and work involved in buying our home.From this moment on it was clear that they had good structure with good communication both internally and externally and that we were in good hands.
From our first viewing to last they were positive and amenable, it impressed me greatly how whenever I rang and said my name that no matter who I was speaking to in the office they knew who I was and which property we were purchasing. We spoke to everyone in the office and they all knew us and no one seemed to be fighting as to who's sale we were or who was looking after us, everyone helped us and everyone deserves credit for the excellent service we were given.
We chose to use their mortgage adviser and in house Conveyancers which helped the process run a little smoother and kept everyone up to date.
Throughout the 14 week period between our offer being accepted and the purchase completing Thomas Morris Ramsey were excellent, as were Partners Financial with the Mortgage and Thomas Morris conveyancing - we always knew what was going on and if we were ever unsure they always got back to us quickly with answers. Darren at partners financial was superb with sorting the mortgage and giving all kinds of other advice relating to the purchase. I cant recommend them highly enough.

Comment on agent fees
The fees seemed fair, It was our first purchase and I shopped around a lot for mortgages and conveyancing and their pricing fell in line with the best I could find and keeping it all in house made things a lot easier. At the end of the process days after we moved in we even had a cheque back as we had paid a little more than necessary for the completion, this was a welcome surprise!
