Signed an agreement to lease, provided all documents and paid and everything. Got a call the week before I was supposed to move out that the tenants were taking advantage of the fact that the landlord improperly documented their intention to move out and were going to stay in the apartment.

Their offer to me, give a refund or show me apartments outside my price range! Didn't even acknowledge the fact that I had to move shortly and made arrangements myself based on the move in date!

Unless you absolutely love the apartment, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
