Raphael and his colleague Emma at Houseman properties were simply superb. They were recommended to through my family, who they had acted for previously, but they earned this endorsement in their work for me.

My tenant gave notice on 23rd December but, unperturbed, Raphael sprung into action and within days a number of prospective tenants were viewing. He managed all the arrangements and gave me immediate confidence that I was in great hands letting my flat despite the awkward time of year.

We quickly found a tenant, but there was no sign that Raphael and Emma thought the job was done at that point. Not only were they were slick with the paperwork, they were willing to go the extra mile, providing other helpful contacts, answering my silly questions and being very responsive throughout.

The best I can say is that I would have no hesitation in using them again myself and recommending them to others (in fact I have already).
Comment on agent fees
Raphael and Emma are good value. From recent experience there are high-street / chain letting agents who charge more, but do (a lot) less. They are clear and transparent about their fees. I have no qualms in paying them their commission - they earned it!

Thank you for your testimonial. I think it is worth pointing out that in fact there are no additional charges once you vacate the property as the checkout report is paid for by the landlord. Most agencies hide this charge. Our agency fees have always been very competitive. On behalf myself and Emma we wish you happiness in your new home. ...
