Do not deal with this agent. I was a landlord of theirs for 5 years who like many believed their 6 monthly inspections were reliable. I had bad luck with a council tenant they appointed who i eventually had to pay the courts to evict by bailiff order. It turns out she had had a history of being evicted from properties for missing rent payments in the past. This hadn't been picked up by Christopher Stokes. Once i did gain access to the flat again i discovered that a great deal of damage had been caused to the flat which they failed to pick up on. Inspection reports said that all was in order and the property was 'clean and in good order throughout'. However it was clear that not only was there evidence of dual occupancy, both these people we also heavy smokers. Just save yourself a lot of stress and trouble and don't deal with them and make sure you check every reference for every tenant! If you can avoid council tenants as well, you should.

When your offer was accepted by the seller, you were asked for certain documents and you were aware that these were required before the property is taken off the market, we understand that you are waiting for your broker. BE CAREFUL WITH THIS AGENCY ! I've had extremely bad experience with them, would not recommended to anyone. There are some really great agencies in the area and Christopher Stokes are definitely not one of them, I would recommend to think twice and consider other options ...

Initially I was happy when I found the property. However they have made it a nightmare. They change stories, try and stick to the new stories even though evidence in writing from themselves are visible. You have to chase them up constantly to do ANYTHING! ...

They have a horrendous system by where they do not take the property off the market once an offer is excepted. They continue viewings, present offers to the seller and tell you it is a survey Rush where whoever gets the lenders survey booked first ...

I made an offer and they except it on 12/08/2021 then we start all the paper works from the bank everything was ready from my side just valuation gonna call them them and making a booking then they just called me and house was gone. ...
