Having rented in Oxford for 2 years, this is the absolute worst agency and staff I have ever come across. Their staff are extremely rude and actually put the phone down when you are trying to complain in a fair and respectable manner! They are very unhelpful and don't want to know when you call to report repairs! However, they are very good at charging a £300 get out of contract 'robbery fee' and make everyone in the house go down to their office to sign the new contract! I found someone just before Christmas to take over my room and of course all my existing house mates were away! I therefore lost the new person and had to wait over a month until everyone was not only back in the house, but could all trek down to their office on the same date AT the same time! Trying to get 6 tenants, plus the new person all available at the same time was a total nightmare! Nops charge for EVERYTHING and do NOTHING!! They are obnoxious, unhelpful and do not care about their tenants.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Extortionate sign up fees and if you need to leave your contract during the contractual dates they charge ‚£300 per person, whilst doing the least amount of work possible and they make the whole process extrememly difficult (as much as they possibly can), whilst trying to make you feel that you're the one in the wrong for having to change your circumstances!!!
