I completely agree with "Kohan" - Salter Rex manage (apparently) my leasehold flat I own in Tooting and are nothing short of ATROCIOUS. Possibly one of the worst companies that I have ever had the upmost dis-pleasure of dealing with. Un-professional, negligent, impossible to get hold of, and completely unresponsive. They are however excellent at one thing; and that is sending bills, which they do regularly, for services that I do not seem to get any benefit form. Any time that planned work is done (communal areas etc) it seems to cost 2-3 times more than what is considered the "going rate". My service charge is circa £1,400 per year and I still fail to see how this is allocated, aside from the standard buildings insurance of course. I end up doing a lot of the general maintenance required myself, in my time, at my own expense. In short, this company is truly awful, and if you are looking for a company that cares, does not overcharge, and is good, then do not use Salter Rex. I wish they were better.
