Noonan Crane were, to say the least, extremely laid back and unprofessional. In a long-term stay at the property we were greeted with a chicken carcass in the oven and a fairly dusty house due to recent renovations of the kitchen and bathroom. Complaints at the condition of the house were met with the equivalent of shrugs. Doors didn't fit, taps don't work properly (issues with pressure) and the carpet is disgusting, all we're brought up and actively met with disdain and ignorance. Not surprisingly, their standards when it came to keeping our deposit went through the roof, many issues we has already noted months prior were brought up as if our fault, and our spotless cleaning resulted in vague criticisms ('it's not quite good enough'). Another example of their poor practices include an occasion in which we had left our keys in the house, locking ourselves out, purely our own fault. We took a trip to their office in order to obtain a spare key, we were greeted by a member of staff who had never done business with before (and therefore would not have recognised us). We simple asked for a key to the property and were given one, no proof of identity needed, just a simple 'i need a key for [address]' and it was done. To think anyone could have just made their way into my home at the time is quite frankly rather scary. I would not recommend doing business with Noonan Crane, we've dealt with numerous estate agents in the past and now since, and they are by far the most stressful to deal with.
What agent could do to change your mind?
The price of the property wasn't an issue, the way it was dealt with was.
