Kyle and the staff were excellent. However, my reason for not giving an excellent rating is because the property still needed a lot of work done to make it safe and liveable when we moved in:

- Live sockets in the kitchen. I received an interesting shock. This was quickly repaired, however
- The cooker hood does not ventilate. This is being repaired now-ish
- The washer/dryer does not dry
- Potentially dangerous mains earthing problems, which will soon be fully repaired
- Rodents in the house (rats/mice). The council has a free service, which we are using. Not nice

I entirely appreciate that some of these issues were beyond the control of Apparent Properties, and the landlords have attempted to sort out the relevant problems to their credit. I would have liked them to have been sorted out before we moved in, however, as I now find myself on the phone all the time to sort out the remaining problems (the landlords are in Gloucestershire).
Comment on agent fees
The property really needs a major renovation. Properties adjacent are now on the market with full renovation for the same rent.

Thank you for your email Danielle. Your appointment was booked for 12:15 and we had an appointment at the same property at 12:10 and one at 12:20, both of whom attended. Hugo, our lettings negotiator was inside the building and came out to see if you were waiting outside. I suspect that you were waiting in a different place. Hi * I wanted to address some of your concerns that you have raised. I appreciate that this was a stressful situation and we tried to help you as much as possible, however it was ultimately the landlord's final decision.
