I am a landlord. I gave my property to Buchell Edwards. When they come to see my property they said, we have lot of tenant in our list and property will be occupied within week. They valued my property for £550 per month. My property was with them for three months. They did not arrange any viewing and did not manage to get any tenant. After that they said, we may have to reduce the rent and we agreed to £500 per month.Still no viewing or tenant. Then they suggest we have to include DSS and benefit tenant. I agreed with them. Finally they manage to get one tenant intrested in my property. They did not do any inventory. They send me contract without any inventory. When I about to sign the contract they said, we need enegery certificate, ang gas safety certificate. They charged me £380 to do some work, which include, grass cutting, air vent, gas certificate. However gas certificate was failed and they suggest me to put air vent costing £150. Next day they suggest me to put new boilder costing £2500. When I ask private gas engineer to have look at it, he passed gas certificate and charged me olny £40. Burchell Edwards charged me £150 for air vent, and they made big hall in my living room. Plus who ever did that job was incomplete.There was no full kit install. They just drill my main wall and made big hall. I took few quotes for the same job and the highest quote was £45 inc vat. Finally I decide to take it off from market and asked them to give my keys back. There was one key missing. I spoke to them on phone and arrange meeting with branch manager. Their staff was very rude on phone. When I went their, even though branch manager was present they, he did not speak to us a single word.

I would strongly advice and suggest to all Landlord and Tenant not to do any business with this agent. They are rubbish, fraud and totally unprofessional. They just want your money. They wont provide any service.
